100 Years of Scouting!

 

WHAT:

Comporall is an awesome opportunity for camping and competition.  All Benton District Scouts are invited to participate in the 2010 Camporall - FIVE Districts will be participating.  This year we will celebrate 100 Years of Scouting in Oregon.  We will camp at the Antique Powerland in Brooks, Oregon and enjoy some Scout Skills and Powerland Activities.

 SOME DETAILS:

Scout Skills:  BB guns, Pan Cake flip, Lashing, Fire building, Semaphore, Knot Tying, Knife Throwing, Orienteering, First Aid, Skit Competition, Troop Campsite Contest, Pioneering Competition

Powerland Activities:  Blacksmith, General Store - Grain grind, Steam tractors, Miniature Railroad, Trolley, Saw Mill, Truck Museum, Geo Cache, Native American Drumming, Service Project

2010 Camporall is Friday, May 14th to Sunday, May 16th at the Antique Powerland in Brooks, OR - I-5 exit 263; 8 miles north of Salem

Scouters will establish camp on Friday night and the competitions will finish Saturday afternoon with a campfire on Saturday night.  Scouts will break camp on Sunday morning.

 COST:

Cost per Boy Scout is $15 and registration is open to all troops and patrols in the Calapooia, Willamette, Eagle Valley, Tillamook, and Benton Districts.  Register by May 1 online and receive a $3 discount.
